Last updated: March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the ParasmaeExam Web Examination Portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use this portal.

2. Examination Conduct

  • You must attempt the examination using your own credentials (Roll Number and Candidate Key).
  • Sharing your credentials with any other person is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.
  • You must not use any unfair means during the examination including but not limited to: copying, using unauthorized materials, seeking help from others, or using any electronic devices not permitted.
  • You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or circumvent any security measures of the examination system.
  • Any attempt at impersonation will be treated as a criminal offense and reported to the appropriate authorities.

3. Browser Security & Monitoring

  • The examination portal employs 20 security layers to monitor your browser activity during the exam.
  • Activities such as switching tabs, opening developer tools, copying content, or exiting fullscreen mode are monitored and recorded.
  • Exceeding the permitted threshold for security violations may result in automatic submission of your examination.
  • Your browser fingerprint, IP address, and other technical identifiers are collected for security purposes.
  • All examination activities are logged with tamper-evident SHA-512 hash chains for audit purposes.

4. Examination Timer

  • The examination timer is server-authoritative. The time displayed on your screen is synchronized with the server clock.
  • The examination will be automatically submitted when the timer expires, regardless of your progress.
  • Any discrepancy between your local clock and the server clock will be resolved in favor of the server time.
  • Candidates with disabilities (PwD) will receive compensatory time as configured by the examination authority.

5. Answer Submission

  • Your answers are automatically saved as you navigate between questions.
  • All answers are encrypted before transmission and stored securely.
  • Each answer is linked to a cryptographic hash chain that ensures tamper-evidence.
  • Once the examination is submitted (manually or automatically), you cannot modify your answers.
  • A Response Verification Hash is generated upon submission for your records.

6. Results

  • For objective-type questions, instant evaluation is provided immediately after submission.
  • Instant results are marked as PROVISIONAL and may be subject to revision.
  • Final results will be published by the examination authority after review, answer key challenge resolution (if applicable), and normalization.
  • The examination authority's decision on results is final and binding.

7. Technical Requirements

  • You are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection throughout the examination.
  • Supported browsers: Google Chrome 90+, Mozilla Firefox 90+, Microsoft Edge 90+.
  • JavaScript must be enabled in your browser.
  • The portal is not compatible with mobile devices for examination purposes.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

  • Personal information collected during registration and examination is protected using AES-256-GCM field-level encryption.
  • Your examination data is retained as per the retention policy configured by the examination authority (default: 1 year).
  • Browser fingerprints and IP addresses are collected solely for examination security and are not shared with third parties.
  • Examination answers are encrypted with public-key cryptography (X25519) and can only be decrypted by authorized systems.

  • The candidate is found to have used unfair means during the examination.
  • The candidate's identity cannot be verified.
  • The candidate's examination session shows evidence of tampering or anomalous activity.
  • The candidate violated any of these terms and conditions.
